Even though products received from Boxycharm are well-known, popular, and worth more than 21 dollars, do you need a monthly subscription? Personally, I have subscribed for the month of May and most of the products received in the box are stuff that I already have at home. I just duplicate my products.
Imagine receiving almost the same products every month! This would no longer be sustainable. At least Boxycharm advertises what each monthly box has to make sure that customers are aware of what products they will be receiving. Therefore, a monthly subscription may not be needed. Nevertheless, a monthly subscription can be a great investment for makeup artists and those who have just started their beauty journey. They will be able to save money and try new products every month.
Customers' engagement is crucial to businesses. When customers don't feel included in a business process, they are no longer excited and will eventually lose interest. Having said that, I would rather have the power as a customer to customize my box and receive products that match my skin tone instead of receiving random items monthly.
